Christmas Special: Nearly There
Two days left! Two days left!
At Wooden Overcoats HQ, we're sharpening our chisels in readiness to carve the official Season 2 script-graves. We've ordered eight so far from our favourite granite binders.
Wouldn't it be great to order a ninth?
If we hit £10,000, we can guarantee a Christmas special, Rudyard Ruins Christmas. It will be written by Tom Crowley and David K. Barnes (whose last partnership brought us episode three of season one, The Little Death).
At time of writing, we've only £796 on our Kickstarter to hit that target. Very doable! Make sure all your Wooden Overcoats loving friends have dropped a pound in the pot. This will be released exclusively to backers.
On Monday, we announced the winner of our island competition. We asked you to tell us what island Piffling Vale might be twinned with. Our winner was Meredith Parets Daly who said:
It's a little known fact that when Lake Havasu City purchased London Bridge in 1958, the tiny island penal colony of Sizzling Gaol was part of the deal. Now inhabited mostly by octo- and nonagenarian former shoplifters, the Island of Sizzling Gaol sits in the center of Lake Havasu.Sizzling Gaol is eager to twin with any island who will have them, and is happy to explain to the curious that the twinship is NOT identical.
As promised, Meredith, here is Madeleine's depiction of Sizzling Gaol, slap bang in the middle of Lake Havasu.
Keep spreading the word, everyone. One final push and we can all make Rudyard Ruins Christmas a reality.
